This time next week, I will be on vacation from work. If you know me, you will know I have a problem. I cannot sit still and just relax. I am one of those people who need a plan. With this in mind, I thought I would share some of the things you can do to ensure you get some down time and relax a little bit.
Sleep
The first thing I am going to ensure is that I manage to get at least 7 hours sleep as much as possible. Some days, I know this will not be possible but as much as I can I will be sleeping.
Watch a movie
I rarely get time to spend two hours on a film. Aside from going to the cinema, it has been a while. My family loves watching films so I know I will be carving out time for some family film nights. Insurgent and the new Star Wars Film are on our little family list of films.
Start a Book
As much as I love reading, I have not been able to sit down and physically read a book. I may have to convert to EBooks which I would rather not do but it does make it easier to read a couple of pages when you have a couple of minutes to spare
Take long showers
I am not a bath person, which I know is pretty much unheard of from a blogger but there it is. I much prefer pampering while having a shower using products such as a scrub, a nice lotion ect so I can leave feeling smooth, clean and well rested. I can gather my thoughts while I am in the shower so I leave the bathroom less anxious and more at ease with
Baking
I plan to bake when I have a couple of hours free. Unlike cooking baking takes more time and care which means that I very rarely bake. The last time I managed to bake was in September so I think it is about time to get my bake on again.
