The first thing I do is remove my eye make up. I go in with my Vichy Purete Thermale Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover. My eyes can get a bit dry so I need something that is hydrating and gentle. This works really well and gets all the liner, shadow and mascara which I wear, off quickly without having to tug on the skin under the eyes.
One thing to remember is by tugging the eyes you are more susceptible to wrinkles in the future which is an added bonus.
When it comes to removing the make up from my face, my first cleanse is always with a Micellar water. Boots recently started to stock Bioderma and while I was not immediately interested in trying it out, the blogger curiosity got the better of me and decided to try it. I opted for the one with the blue top as it is geared towards more dehydrated skin. This works a dream. My skin does not feel tight after I have applied it on the face and it takes the bulk of my make up off with just a few swipes.
This duo is perfect for winter as my skin does not feel like it is being stripped and dried out. In fact it feels the complete opposite. My skin feels fresh and rejuvinated which makes me look forward to this step even more.
Taking off your make up every night is an important part of good skin and using this duo makes it that much more easier and stops it from feeling like a chore.
