For the longest time Pinterest was lost on me. I didn't understand the fascination but I gave it a whirl and was literally hooked. It is a great place for creatives to gather ideas for everything from food to home and fashion all in one place.
It can be overwhelming at first so I thought I would share with you some of my favourite boards to get you started.
One thing I use Pinterest for is gathering ideas for different looks. Not to follow steps but get ideas for looks and colour combinations. Avery's board has a lovely mix of looks which I re pin frequently and love looking at.
Another make up board, this one by the lovely Helen. If you follow her blog, you will know her photography is on point. (Girl, how do you do it!) She has the most incredible range of looks for call on her board as well as more intricate looks that can be used for fashion shows.
If you read my Twitter, you will know I have serious Wonderlust cravings. I plan to do more travelling soon but in the mean time I am living vicariously through social media and pictures. Olivia has the most incredible pictures from Europe such as Santorini which is one of the places on my list to go too.
It is a dream of mine to own my house/ flat one day. I can get carried away looking on Pinterest planning how I would decorate my own place. One board I am constantly looking at for inspiration is by Kayleigh. She recently moved herself and I can only imagine how stunning her new place looks.
I try and stay away from sweet treats 80% of the time but you have to live a little. Recently when I have logged in to Pinterest my feed has been clogged with deserts and yummy goods courtesy of the lovely Chelsea. When I see these deliciousness, I cannot help but drool and mentally note to bake some of these at one point. My best friends baby shower is happening soon so I may have to bake a couple of these!
I hope this helps you get started with Pinterest or find some new boards. If you're on Pinterest
come say hi and let me know your favourite boards.
