MAC Hush Cream Colour Base

For what has to be one of my favourite make up products of all time highlighters are are hard to come by in my collection. With that in mind I decided to change that and see what was out there. One highlighter I had my eye on was Hush by MAC.

Hush is not strictly a highlighter, it is a cream colour base which was intended for the lids but I apply this with my fingers and blend it on the tops of my cheeks, the bridge of my nose and my cupids bow.

MAC Hush is perfect if you have a olive skin tone. It has a golden champagne tone to it which works perfectly against the complexion. It blends in easily to the skin and for a cream highlighter, the texture is not that fluid allowing it to last on the cheeks that little bit longer.

If you are new to highlighting or prefer something quite subtle, you will enjoy this. Hush is effective without being obvious. Unlike the Mary Lou-Manizer this is a low key highlighter. There is just a bit of a shimmer without any glitter providing you with the sun kissed look perfect in the colder months.

On days when I am want to amp up the highlight I will pair this with my Mary Lou Manizer, other days I tend to wear this on it's own.

Heads up, MAC Hush is usually sold out. It took me a couple of months to get this at my local counter so if you see it in store and thinking of getting it, grab it while you can.
