It has been absolutely ages since I last shared with you an eye look on Make up Monday so I thought I would dedicate a post to a look I have been wearing for the majority of the month of August. It is a great in between seasons look as it works for sunny days but wearable on rainy days too.
To get the look I went in with my
Urban Decay Smoky Palette* and used the shade
Radar which is a deep brown shade. I applied it all over the lid but focussed it on the crease to add depth and definition to the lids.
Once the base was created I went in with the shimmery shade Dirtysweet which is a light gold shade and using a packing brush applied it on the middle of the lid. This lightens the eyes up making you look more awake.
After this I went back in with Radar on the corners of the eyes creating a C shape to add a bit more depth. To highlight I actually used the shade high in this instance which is a pink champagne shimmer. This is more shimmer than pigment perfect for a inner corner highlight which is what I like using it for.
Then to finish and complete the entire look I went in with my
Essence I love punky jumbo line*. Not my favourite liner but it is a great liner, Easy to use and long lasting.
For mascara I went in with my
Essence Big Lashes Triple Black mascara* I have been using this to create thick volume lashes and it has been doing the job well. I am still on the hunt for the perfect mascara but this has been working well for me at the moment and is under £4! a winner.
