Eid Make Up
On Thursday, I was lucky enough to celebrate the Islamic Festival Eid with my wonderful friends and family. It was a wonderful day filled with love, laughter and lots of food. I did plan to film a get ready with me but ran out of time. I really liked the make up look I went for so I thought I would share it with you today.

My Base.
If you have watched my Foundation Routine, this may not be a surprise to you but I primed my face using the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer with SPF. I then went in with my Urban Decay Weightless Coverage Concealer in the shade Medium/ Dark Neutral. I applied this on my nose and under my eyes. Then using my Bobbi Brown full face coverage brush I went in with my NARS Sheer Glow foundation. I love the dimension of this foundation. It gives your skin more glow and life.

To warm my face up, I bronzed my face with the Maybelline Master Sculpt in the shade light/ medium. This is perfect for adding warmth back in the face after you apply your foundation.

The Eyes
I then decided to play up my eyes for Eid and used two palettes to achieve the purple gold eye I went for. I first went in with the shade Salted Caramel from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. Long time readers will know this is my favourite matte shadow. It is my skin tone so it helps to neutralise the eyes and allow the pigmentation of the shadows seep though. Then focusing on the creases I went in with the shade Pigelle from the Stila Eyes are the Windows Spirit Palette. It is the most beautiful purple/ berry toned shadow. I applied it to the lids and led it in to the crease. I was wearing Purple with a gold scarf in my outfit and wanting something shimmery so I also went in with the Loreal Mono Shadow in the shade Gold Mania which is quite possibly the most beautiful gold shade I have come across.

Finishing the eye look off, I went in my Estee Lauder Little Black Liner and my Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara. This is becoming the ultimate combination for me. The intense liner with the thick lashes goes well with this look which is full of colour.

The Cheeks
I decided to try something new with the cheeks and first of all contoured using my NARS Laguna. After that I ventured in to using a purple blush. (There seems to be a theme in this weeks look doesn't there?!) I used the Urban Decay 8 hour blush Afterglow  in the shade Bittersweet. I am aware this looks incredibly bright and bold in the pan but as I hope you can see in the picture of me applying in this, you can see this is actually very wearable and adds a nice flush of colour to the cheeks.

To finish this off, I went in with the Mary Lou-Manizer from Thebalm. This is hands down my favourite highlighter. I have talked about it enough but if you have to pick this up and love a good highlighter do yourself a favour and add it on to your list.

The Lips
I love a bold lip but as I was wearing deep purple/ burgundy I decided to counter act it with a bright lip. For this I went in with my MAC Lip liner in the shade Heroine, which is a try violet shade. It does have a matching lipstick which is one of my favourites, however today, I opted for another all time favourite I talk endlessly about and that is the lipstick Flat Out Fabulous. It is a matte shade and purple with blue berry undertones within it.

And that was my Eid look done. I hope you all like it. I will do a Get Ready With Me with a similar look soon.

P.S - If any of you were interested my headpiece is from Pearl Daisy and my dress is from Purdah, it is the most comfiest dress I have worn.
