So it appears liquid lipsticks and I are having a bit of a moment. I am so in love with them. The Stila Stay All Day Liquid lipsticks have been on my radar since I first started blogging but I only recently took the plunge and invested in the shade Fiery.
Fiery is a blue toned red, much like Ruby Woo by MAC. I find Blue toned red to be the most flattering for my skintone. The blue undertones in it helps bring out the white in my teeth.
The formula of the Stay All Day liquid lipsticks are very long lasting and matte. I have worn this at work and did not have to worry about having to constantly reapply it. The only time I felt the need to reapply it was during lunch.
As it is matte, it can be slightly drying. Personally, this does not bother me, but if you struggle with that all you need to do is a apply some lipbalm on top.
My favourite thing about this is the way this fades. Unlike more traditional lipsticks. Fiery only fades on the inner section on the lips which means you can wear this for special occasions or in the warm climates and it will not melt or go over your face.
You apply this using a doe foot applicator which is a nice soft sponge. It is not harsh and you can get the right amount of product on the tip when you apply the liquid lipstick. I like to take my time when applying liquid lipsticks as it can get be a bit messy but I did not have any mishaps with this.
I really cannot express how much I love this. I have my eye on some of their new spring shades as well as the shade Aria.
