Make up Monday | Summer Eyes

I honestly thought I was all out of new eye looks I was loving and felt the need to show you all but then something happened one morning when experimenting and I found a look using two products I have not teamed up together. I fell in love with it and the result of that is in this blog post and if you watched my June Favourites, this may not come as a shock to you.

I took two of my favourite of the moment budget eye products. For the base, I used the Bourjois Colorband in the shade Mauve Boroque which is a nice dusty pink colour all of the lids. I really love this. It is long lasting, does not move from the lids, there is no fall out and it looks beautiful on most if not all skintones.

For no reason other than the fact I love the colour I went in with the Seventeen Eye Eye shadow in the shade Rose Quartz. This on the lids in the perfect dusty rose shade. It is not too shimmery, very soft and buttery and can easily rival some high end shadows. I will say the packaging is a bit hit and miss and the shadow is that soft, it can break slightly but for the shade and pigment you get for £3.99 I am not going to complain.

As per, I ended the look with a sweep of my I love punk eyeliner from Essence. For a jumbo liner, you really are able to get a nice thin line with this. The black is intense and it is great for a quick out the door make up look. For mascara I used my Lash Mania false lashes mascara. This one is relatively new to me and so far I like it. It is not very voluminasing but it packs a punch in length. My lashes has honestly not looked this long before.

Lots of love
