Wednesday Ramblings | Top Five Spring Essentials

Spring Make upSpring has finally sprung. With the warmer weather comes a change their make up prefernces, so I thought I would share with you, my top five spring beauty essentials.

Tinted Moisturiser
If you know me, Tinted Moisturiser is something I wear year around. In the warmer months especially it is nice to wear a base that is light and not heavy on your face. Tinted Moisturiser It feels like a moisturiser on your skin, however it gives you nice but very natural coverage. My current go to is the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It keeps my face hydrated and evens out my skintone.

Cream Blush
Spring make up is all about fresh glowy skin and for me a nice pink cream blush does just that. Illamasqua cream blush in Laid is the perfect bubblegum pink. It blends easily in to the skin and is very long lasting. A little goes a long way so start off with a little bit and build it up to an intensity you are comfortable with.

In the UK, you really cannot get a tan or a sun kiss glow so a bronzer is pretty much a must for me. A finely milled bronzer like my Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer is great for the warmer weather. It is light so you cannot feel it on your face, it layers well with other products on your face and gives your skin a natural warmth. It is also a good contouring option if you have slightly paler skin to me.

Another must for me a nice cream higlighter. I gravitate towards more gold toned higlighters as I feel they compliment my skin a bit more. The only I own and something that has featured heavily throughout my time blogging is the Benefit Cosmetics Watts Up highlighter. It's in a stick form so easy to apply and very quick and fuss free to blend in to your skin. (Do you notice a theme in. My make up choices?)

A bright lip
This goes without saying but a good lip choice changes the dynamic of a any look. I recently re discovered my love for the Sleek Matte me in fandango purple. It's a nice bright Purple that is wearable during the day and perfect for a evening when the sun is still out. The formula is quite drying but it means you do not have to worry about reapplying it while you are out and about.

All of these options are light weight, fuss free and easy to wear for the most part so I hope that help you out in some way when you're creating your make up look.

Lots of love
