Wednesday Ramblings | The Pink Edit

We had the Red edit, the Nude edit and now that the weather is changing, I thought I would share with you my go to pink lipsticks. I actually do not have many that I wear on a regular basis in this colour range but these are the ones I go to when I want something fresh on my lips.

MAC Craving | Buy Here
This was the first MAC lipstick I bought after I started blogging. It was also the first pink lipstick I owned. It is a amplified finish, which means it is a bit more glossy than a matte. When I wear this, I have to use a lip liner otherwise I feel it will go everywhere. This is one when I am out and about, not so much when I am eating or drinking.

Illamasqua Magnetism | Buy Here
I got this in the Illamasqua sale and it was my first delve in to the brand. This is a nice mauve pink shade which is the pink shade that I am most drawn too. This is a slightly glossy finish but as you can see the pigmentation is on point. I use a nice lip liner under this and I am all set to go. You do need to reapply after a few hours but compared to  craving, it is a bit more sturdy and long lasting on the lips. I have worm this work multiple times and there have been no mushy lip disasters. (Thankfully)

Kate Moss lipstick in 31 | Buy Here
You all know I love the Kate Moss range. This is from her regular line with Rimmel and was a shade they released for Spring last year. As you can see, it has a slight orange/ coral undertone to it which is perfect for this time of year. Coral is a shade I usually stem away from on my lips but this is workable for me. It is leans towards matte rather than glossy but is very easy and comfortable to wear on the lips. This is one of my favourite formulas from the drugstore. It is incredibly long lasting and wearable for meals out, special occasaions and such. It can bleed but that is something a lip liner fixes.

Maybelline Keep it Classy Lip Pencil | Buy Here
You all know my love for these. I did a full review if you are interested. They are very easy to apply, extremely long lasting. A good dupe for the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils. They have a slight sheen to them but they are matte. This is perfect if you do not like reapplying your lipstick. I still cannot get over that these are under £5!

Soap and Glory Fabulipstick in Pom Pom | Buy Here
These lipsticks are not talked about enough which is a shame because the formula is incredible. I found Pom Pom and instantly fell in love. This is a true pink and comes with a velvet matte formula similar to the Chartlotte Tilbury Matte lipsticks. They smell of a hint of a vanilla which I love and over all the pigmentation and lasting power is very impressive.

And those are my go to pink lipsticks. If you ever find me wearing a pink shade, it is most likely going to be one of these. I do love these but I have a niggling thought, something is missing. Let me know which pink lipsticks you are currently loving.

Lots of love
