Review | Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel
I love a good tinted moisturiser and the latest offering comes from the Bare Minerals. The famous mineral make up brand recently added the Complexion Rescue hydrating gel to their shelves.

Bare Minerals Complexion rescue is a tinted moisturiser perfect for the warmer weather. It is designed to boost hydration to your skin making your face more plump, fresh and radiant.

Unlike traditional tinted moisturisers, the complexion rescue is a gel formula which means a little goes a very long way and a tube will last you a good few months. Like a moisturiser it is very lightweight and does not feel heavy on your skin.

I have been using this for the past month and have fallen in love. The coverage is medium and while you may need concealer for big spots, it does get rid of any redness and evens out your skin tone. The shade range is perfect. I am the shade ginger, which is a perfect match for the yellow under tones in my skin. The shade range is extensive and there is a good mix for bot pink and yellow undertone skin girls.

Personally, I love a dewy face all year around but especially this time and of year and the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue has helped me do this wonderfully. Cream blushes and highlighters sit well with this. I am always weary about powder products looking 'cakey' on my skin and this has past the test. I have applied powder bronzer and blush on top and both have sat beautifully.

You can apply this with a foundation brush (the Real Techniques expert face brush is the one) but my favourite easy lazy way to apply this is to my fingers.  It is suitable for all skin types, the only thing I would say is that if you have dry flaky skin, this may not be for you as it can cling to those areas.

If you are looking for a great dewy base this spring and summer, this is one to look in too.

Lots of love
