Make up Monday | What's on your face - Indian Wedding #2

Make up
Indian Make up tutorial
I mentioned there would be a couple of weddings so, I thought I would do a second instalment of the Indian Weddings. This look is a lot more different to what I usually go for but I felt it went with my outfit and I wanted to experiment a little bit.

The Base
(Yes, I still have Meghan Trainers all about that base in my head when I type that) If you watched my Haul video, you will know I grabbed the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in the shade Ginger. It masks any redness on your face and feels very comfortable on the skin. I then went in with my Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. I am going to do a blog post on both of these soon so I don't want to say to much BUT I am loving this combination.

To end the face, I went in with my Laguna Bronzer from NARS. You know the deal with this by now, it is fabulous and I am in love.

Eyes
I have been waiting for ages to try this but I finally cracked open my Stila Eyes in the Window in Spirit Palette. I first went in with the light brown matte shade in the shade Puppy. It helped to even the skintone on my lids. I then decided on a purple based eye so I packed on the shade Pigalle using the brush from my Urban Decay Naked Three palette. It is a really nice matte with gold shimmer in it. On the inner parts of my lids to brighten things up a little I went in with the shade Jezebel which is a pink champagne.

At this point I was feeling adventurous (for me anyway) and took the shade Kitten under my lower lids as well as in the inner corner tearduct. Kitten is my favourite shade from Stila and is my go to when I am stuck in a rut.

To finish the look off, I did the same as last week and layered two of my favourite mascaras, the Bourjois Volume Seconde Mascara and the Benefit Rollerlash Mascara. My sister also used Rollerlash and fell in love with it too. Then for liner I wanted the black to be intense so I used my Eyeko Skinny Liner because it is the most intense liner I own and find really easy to apply.

Cheeks and Lips
For the cheeks, I went in very soft and opted for the Max Factor Miracle Creamy Blush in soft pink and for highlighter I went in with my favourite Mary Lou-Manizer by The Balm. I have honestly not met anyone who does not like this highlighter. It is a nice champagne shade which is great for all skintones but especially for those who have olive toned skin.

When it came to lips, I was in a bit of a pickle. I was torn between doing a red lip or a brown lip. I decided to be different and go with a brown lip. I lined my lips with MAC Soar and then went in with Charlotte Tilbury in Birkin Brown. I do love this lipstick but it gets on my teeth far too much (big teeth problems) but I love this combination and went well with the outfit.

And just like that, the wedding was over. I had a great time catching up with all the loved ones. It was a long night but I enjoyed it.

I hope you liked the look, If you want to see more, you can check out last weeks Indian Wedding adventure. Let me know what you think!

Lots of love
