I first primed my lids with my Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade Creamy Beige. It is just a really nice matte base that your shadow can stick too so it stays on for long and helps you pack on the colour.
Then to balance the tone I went in with the Matte Shade Salted Caramel which is the most beautiful matte brown. It is very near my own skin tone, which I like because it means you can get the true reflection of the colours you are to put on your lids.
Finally, getting to the colour, I decided to go with a darker gold shade Hazelnut called from the palette. I always forget how pigmented this and when I was doing this look, it was a bit dark for the daytime but I blended it out and it was fine.
As I wear glasses and have small eyes I always lighten the inner corners. The palette comes with highlight shades but I fell in love with the shade Marzipan so I went with that. I also patted it in to the centre of my lids to give it a bit of a lift.
To finish any eye look off, a girl needs her eye liner and mascara. On this occasion I went with my Essence Eyeliner and the Bourjois Volume 1 seconde mascara in Ultra Black.
It is a bit of a darker look to my usual go to eye looks but one that I like. It can be worn during the day or in the evening. I wore this look on this weeks video so let me know what you think.
