Make up Monday | The Sunday Brunch Edition

So this weekend, I did something I have not done in a while in all honesty, I grabbed some brunch with my best friend. Sunday's I usually leave make up free (Unless I am testing some new products out or creating a look I did not get a  chance to take pictures off earlier) so today, I thought I would show you my 'Sunday going out face' a minimal make up kind of look if you will.

Base wise, I keep everything the same. My NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisutriser gets a lot of love on a daily basis. After this, I went in with the much coveted NARS Creamy Concealer. It is coming to it's last dregs right now which makes me sad. The coverage this gives is incredible and it is very easy to blend under your eyes. Unlike other concealers on the market, it works well with my Asian Skin tone and does not crease or wear off.

As we are still in Winter, I needed to bronze my face up a little. I used my NARS Laguna for a subtle overall healthy look. It was not heavy, and there was no contouring on this occasion either. Usually, I then skip blush from time to time but today, I was the mood for something very subtle that would give my face an added boost. For this, I opted for the Benefit Cosmetics Benetint. It is a nice cheek and lip stain which looks scary in the bottle but in actual face is quite sheer and natural. This is one of the reasons I decided to give it a go. I wanted face to have a natural plumpness and luminosity to the skin which I really like. If you do not like heavy make up, this is the one. The difference it makes is subtle but very effective. I applied just three small lines on each cheek and blended it out with my fingers.

I skipped higlighter and went straight for the eyes. I used my go to palette of the moment by Too Faced and the shade salted caramel. I have a review for this coming up tomorrow so keep an eye out for that. I wanted something to open my eyes out slightly so went in with the Stile Ice Cream Palette in Mocha Chip. I have a review for this here but it is a beautiful trio of shades that are the most soft, buttery and blendable colours. I used the lighter shade.

Then to complete the eyes, I went in with my felt tip liner from Essence and Bourjois Volume second mascara. I have spoken at length about both of these as well as written individual reviews so take a look if you want to know why I love them.

Regardless of it being a Sunday or not I have to fill in my brows. It is a must for me. I am finishing my Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade which I am slightly horrified of finishing. I don't have a back up yet so I thought it was a good time to try out filling out my brows with a shadow. I use to do this when I first filled in my brows. I took the black shade from my Make Up Revolution Flawless palette. I did like it and I will not lie, the Dip Brow Pomade provides a much more crisp finish which I prefer.

Time to finally get to the lips and I lined and filled with the Lip Liner shade three from Barry M before going in with the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bahama. It gives me a nice brown nude which works well for my skin tone. It is not over the top, too bold and as we were eating, it was long lasting too!

And that is the look I wore. It wasn't a no make up as such but just a minimal toned down look for what I can sometimes go for.

Lots of love
