We are well and truly in to 2015. Work has been pretty full on but I like being busy so I didn't mind. I like being busy.

I seem to always say this but I was focusing on getting back on track this week. Last week, with my birthday and other family commitments, things seemed a little unfocused so I have been setting things in motion to change that. Writing lists, getting blogposts written, applications done and dusted in all honestly helped me feel less anxious and like I am heading somewhere.

One of my New Years Resolutions was to see my friends a little bit more and I think slowly I am getting there. I saw them for a coffee for about an hour but that hour made a huge difference. We grabbed some tea, hot chocolate and just caught up. It made me feel better and picked me up after feeling tiered and slightly confused about things.

Towards the end of the week, I saw my cousin who I had not seen in absolute years. We grew up together so it was nice to be able to see her. We always imagined owning a business together and making up projects. It was nice meeting her because I was excited about the future and just felt rejuvenated.

I also wanted to share something with you all. Life has ups and downs it flips and flops all around but a key thing is to be surrounded by those who add positivity in your life. It is true what they say negative vibes create a negative mind and there is nothing that makes you feel worse than feeling like you are not good enough or to have someone keep putting you down. It can take it's toll. No one is perfect but you deserve to have people tell you the good qualities you have, praise you and the achievements you have made throughout your life.

A quote I found this week said 'Don't let anyone dull your sparkle' and that is absolutely true! It is key to keeping any dream or plans you have alive. If you don't believe in yourself or surround yourself with people who don't believe in your dreams or encourage you it can effect the motions and motivation you have in yourself. Nobody has time for that. Do what makes you happy, be it in work, with your relationships and do it on your own terms. You will be much happier for it.

I am not sure this weeks post makes any sense to you but I hope it does and I wish you all the best for the rest of the week.

Lots of love
