If you know me, you will know I have an obsession with lip lacquers, It is becoming quite a problem. As part of my birthday bundle, my friends bought me the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in the shade Kooky.
Cookie is from the MUA Luxe line and is a nice deep purple shade. The kind of purple I enjoy, not too dark and vampy but not bright either. If you like bold shades, you will love this.
As with the majority of lip laquers, this applies matte on the lips. They are on the dry side so if you find that an issue prep your lips with lip balm beforehand. Personally, I really like matte formulas, so this did not bother me as much.
MUA is a very inexpensive brand in the UK and Cookie is a great example of some of the great products it has produced. I really like packaging of this, it doesn't look cheap and reminds me of the packaging of it's higher end counterparts.
You apply it with a doe-foot applicator which for me, means I take my time applying this. the best way is to remove any excess product from the applicator before putting it to your lips. You can add another coat to build the colour if you want too. This way you don't end up with messy clown like lips. (I've been there- not pretty)
It applies evenly and has long lasting power. It only needs reapplying after eating a meal or drinking a cup of tea. aside from that, it lasts a good few hours.
