Style Saturday | The Winter Coat

If you know me, you will know I do not buy many coats. The red one that is all over my instagram? I have owned it for four years.

I tend to buy one new winter coat a year. I take my time and choose one I feel will go with the majority of the clothes I am loving at the time. My first port of call this year was Primark.

Primark, is my first go to place when it comes to finding a coat. My coat needs to be durable, I don't want to feel like I have to look after it carefully and diligently, the way I would if I spent a fortune on it.

This year, I wasn't sure I would find one, but on my way out of Primark, I stumbled across this. I tried it on and instantly fell in love. The hood is nice a soft, big the way I wanted it. The design was tailored enough to give a bit of a shape. I have the body of a boy which is a pain when you do not want something to be tight as it can drown you.

With the cold we have recently been having I pair the coat with a grey snood and it keeps me warm and cosy.

The best part? this cost me just £25. I have been wearing it for a good month now and it still looks brand new. My last coat was also from Primark, they wash well, the zips and buttons do not break and I really find them pleasant to wear.

Lots of love
