Make up Monday | The budget face picks

As it is January and #budgetmonth on the blog, I thought I would start off the this months Make up Monday but talking you through my favourite budget picks for a full face of make up.

Bourjois Primer | Buy Here
There are not many primers on the high street that cater to dehydrated skin. In fact I think this is the only one. It is light weight, works well under make up, keeps the skin looking smooth. If you like or have wanted to try the Laura Mercier Illuminating Primer, this is a good dupe for it.

Make up Revolution Flawless Palette | Buy Here
New to eye shadow and want to play around with some colours? This is the perfect balance. It has a range of neutral shades with a few bolder colours in there this is for you. The pigmentation is impressive and the lasting power resembles that of Sleek. You get 32 shades for just £8. There is a deep black in the palette for those of you who like wearing liner and filling in your brows. An absolute bargain. If you want to see more check it out here.

Essence I love Extreme Mascara | Buy Here
A mascara that works and is under £3? I was impressed with the thickness and volume this mascara gave my lashes. It rivals some of the higher end mascaras I tried. Another great drugstore mascara for those of you who love thick voluminous lashes comes from Maybelline.

Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer | Buy here
I talk about this bronzer a lot. It is great for most skin tones. I wear it all over but you can use it as a contour too. This is great if you have asian skin tones as it doesn't look ashy like some skin tones can.

Topshop Glow Stick | Buy Here
There is yet to be a cream highlighter that rivals my Benefit Watts up Highlighter but this offering is the closest and does the job. It does contain slightly more shimmer particles and not as creamy but it gives a nice glow and works well if you are in a rush. The one I have is not online but there is a similar one here.

Revlon Cream Blush in Charmed | Buy Here
I have a love for cream blushes. I find them to work in to my skin a lot more easily. This one from Revlon is a cream to powder formula which is a great go to between. It blends in to your skin so easily making it very hard to over do. If you are new to blush, or feel like you are heavy handed this is a good one to try.

Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Pencil in Keep it Classy | Buy Here
You will here this mentioned quite a lot this month (in a variety of shades) and that is because it works well. It reminds me a bit of the NARS velvet Matte Lip Pencils but are a bit more hydrating. They are long lasting, I would say they last a good few hours.

All of these items are under £10 and can help create a full face of make up. I am on the hunt for a good drugstore foundation to give a go for you all so let me know which ones are your favourites.

Lots of love
