So this week went incredibly fast. I probably say or think this most weeks but I feel like last week went really slow for some reason so compared to that this week was a whirlwind.
I have some projects lined up and I have been really looking forward to start planning them and moving them in the direction I want to go in. I managed to find some notebooks to make the notes I need for that on (I always feel like a notebook helps me get things in to perspective)
The Christmas lights were turned on in my hometown and I took my friend along. It was so packed. I actually forgot how busy it could get. I don't normally go (the last time I went was back in 2011 I think) and I am not going to lie. While we were there me and my friend managed to do a quick tour of the shops, grab a costa and have a nice catch up. Has anyone tried the Dove dry hair oil? my eyes found it while we were in Superdrug (Surprise Surprise) and I was thinking of getting it.
Speaking of costa, it was my first takeaway cup of the month and I discovered something new for me. I can't have hot chocolate from coffee places because my body doesn't react too well when it has too much dairy so I had a regular tea but this time around I decided to try something I hadn't before which was a shot of caramel syrup in it and I have to say it was absolute love. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. I will definitely be picking that up again.
Friday, I did some shopping in Manchester after work. I went on my own which I am not going to lie is the way I like to shop most of the time. The city was so beautiful in the evening with all the lights. It is part of what I like about this time of year. The early evenings and seeing so many out at that time feeling happy and talking about all the things they plan to do with their families. I am total sucker for that kind of stuff.
I've come to the realisation that I am turning 24 soon. I know it probably not that old but I feel like I should be doing something meaningful with my life now and grabbing more opportunities when I can. If you haven't noticed yet, I tend to be more on the cautious side so I think this needs to shade and grab life with two hands as they say.
Does anyone else feel like that or am I the only one?
