If my long list of haul videos are not enough of an indication, I appear to have a love for shopping. Especially when it comes to beauty. My favourite place near where I live to shop has to be Manchester City Centre. It is vibrant, there is always something happening and the perfect busy city.
I found myself wanting to go to the same shops over and over again so I thought I would share them with you all incase you're planning a visit to the city or live here and want somewhere new to shop.
Harvey Nichols
Right near the Arndale Centre is the beautiful Harvey Nichols. Fun Fact, I had my first blogger meet up here so it is a pretty special place to me. I love coming here to visit the beauty section. They have brands such as Stila, Laura Mercier, Ren, Rodial and others that you do not generally find a counter for.
Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square
I cannot resist going in to a Selfridges and there is a huge one next to Harvey Nichols in the heart of Manchester. When I was studying, I use to love going there and window shopping when I had a couple of minutes to waste before I had to be in lesson. It has recently become home to Charlotte Tilbury make up as well as also housing, Jo Malone, Diptyque, Bobbi Brown, Kiehls and more. If you drive, I do prefer the Selfridges in Trafford Centre as the lighting is better and it has an insane food section but it still beautiful and I still end up in awe every time I visit.
Space NK
It was only after I started blogging that I even knew what Space NK was. (I know I know how crazy?!) So I squealed a little bit when I found they had a store in Manchester. In peaks out in the corner of St Anne Square. It is small and quaint. The staff are lovely and always up for a chat, You can honestly tell they love what they do and beauty which to me makes all the difference. Space NK stocks brands you cannot find easily in other places such as Lipstick Queen, Phyto Hair care, Living Proof, Eyeko and much more!
TK Maxx
I love finding deals and TK Maxx is the place to go if you're looking for a good bargain. The one in Manchester is inside the Arndale Centre. The beauty section is huge here and I have found some good bargains here such as the Michel Mercier Brush. It is also a good place to find a bargain on a handbag!
Clothes
Primark
If you know Manchester and you do your shopping there chances are you will not leave without even a small trip in to Primark. The one in Manchester is three floors high and filled with everything you need to fill your wardrobe with. I have been known to spend hours in there getting lost in all the clothes.
Fashion wise other stores I like are H&M and Zara but I also enjoy these in my home town too.
Homesense
This is the extension of TK Maxx and is dedicated to their home stuff. This only recently opened in Manchester Arndale. It has some unique beautiful things to put in your home and when the time comes for me to get my own place I will definitely be going there first!
