This week has been a bit of a crazy one. Filled with yummy foods, sad goodbyes and looking to the future.
So this week was paid in homage to my grandparents. We ate they're favourite foods and good very emotional before they had to jump on the plane to the other side of the atlantic. I had to stop myself from crying a few times before the dreaded day arrived.
With that in mind, I have spent the evenings just relaxing and spending time with them and not worrying too much about everything else and I genuinely feel less stressed which is refreshing. I have also been able to go to sleep at a reasonable hour which is good too!
Before they left, it was my father birthday and he is one of the most special people in my life ever but he is the lest materialistic person so getting him something/ doing things for his birthday can be slightly tricky. I bought a cologne for him I knew he had eye on but would never buy for himself. I think he liked it which is good.
And that is pretty much how this week has gone down. Some tears, some laughs and many memories made. Isn't that what life is about?
