Last Thursday I was kindly invited to the
Debenhams in Liverpool to check out the new
Kiehls stand and find out more their new serum and about the brand. I really enjoy finding out the history behind beauty brands, whether it is a make up brand or a skincare brand there is usually a very interesting story and ethos behind it so I thought I would share what I learnt with you.
Kiehl's is an old brand and part of the Loreal beauty empire. It started out as a pharmacy for people who wanted solutions for problems they were having with their skin. Especially at the time and something they are still proud of today is that all their products are full of homeopathic and herbal medicines, enrich with essential oils such as Lavender and Rose makes for beautiful luxury products.
All the techonology they have put in their products means they have a solution for every skin situation whether you have dry skin, oily skin, normal or damaged skin there is a whole range of products for each skin concern you may have.
What I personally love about Kiehl's is that vast amount of ranges they have. They are one of the only brands of their calibre that have a very
extensive mens grooming as well as a
decent baby range for those of you who may be expecting a little one sometime soon. I also wasn't aware (bad beauty blogger alert) they have a
big haircare range too which I might have to explore more.
I am not going to lie, their products are not budget prices, I would say in the world of skincare their prices are mid range and a brand I would not mind spending money on as I know I would be getting quality and bang for my buck.
I haven't tried much from them but after spending over an hour with them I have a small list which includes their new
Hydroplumping re texturizing skin concentrate* which I will have a review off. The other products I think I am going to be trying will be their
Midnight Recovery Concentrate,
Avocado eye cream and after to speaking to the specialist I really want to try the Corrective brightening exfoliating scrubs.
Don't forget if you're in the Liverpool area, the Debenhams in Liverpool One has a brand spanking new counter for you to enjoy as well as it's own store near the beauty bazar if you want to check them out.
