I don't always give in to hyped products but if there was one I was going to try it was the Sleek Matte Me's. I um'd and Ahh'd about getting them for a long time before biting the bullet and chose the shade Fandango Purple.The Sleek Matte Me range are Matte Lip Lacquers and the Fandango Purple shade is a nice purple shade that reminds of the colour of MAC'S flat out fabulous so it is a great dupe if you were looking in to getting them.
I was really impressed with this, it is long lasting. I found this to last on me until I eat a meal. That is the only time I found it to fade throughout the day.
If you want something quick to apply, this is not it. It dries instantly and can be hard to remove so I like to take my time applying it removing the excess from the doe foot applicator to start off with and then build it up.
The colour is absolutely beautiful, especially in the light and works well for special occasions or during the day if you like rocking bold lips during the day. I wore it to one of my cousins wedding ceremonies and a few people complimented me on it and asked me what I am wearing.
As the formula is matte, it can be a bit drying, unlike the Lime Crime Velvetine which is a velvet matte, it is more drying but that is nothing a lip balm cannot fix if that bothers you. I didn't it to be a problem at all.
For £4.59 these are definitely the best lip lacquers I have seen on the high street.
