The last time I fell in love with a perfume was back when I was in university and since then my interest in them wavered slightly. Between reading more perfume reviews on some of my favourite blogs and looking for a perfume my mamma bear would like for her birthday I think I have fallen back in love with them and now have a small wish list.
I recently started using my Prada Candy Florale sample and have to say so far I am really enjoying it. At the moment I am really in to fresh smells. Not too sweet but nice and fresh and Prada Candy is along those lines.
Prada Candy Florale is slightly on the sweet side that I usually do not stray too but it is quite subtle and wearable. It doesn't remind you of the scents you use to have as a teenager and is more adult which is why I like it.
The notes in this perfume are as the name would suggest quite floral but on the light side (think Peony) with base notes of caramel and musks.
It is a great transition scent because it is warm and comforting enough to wear during the Autumn months, especially at the moment when it it actually still warm for the most part in the UK.
It is a Eu De Toilette which means that the scent does not linger as strongly as the Eu De Parfum. Personally, I think it depends on the scent if this should be a preference on not. In this case, it is not something that bothers me. Especially as I can carry this little sample in my handbag if I feel like I need to touch it up slightly. (they are so handy)
Lots of love
