I realised I hadn't done a first impressions post in a very long time so I thought it was about time I did one as I enjoy writing them and it seems like you enjoy reading them too.
Today, I thought I would share with you my thoughts on this lovely sample of Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara.
This was my first delve in to the world of Laura Mercier make up and I have to say I was impressed.
Laura Mercier claims that this mascara will dramatic lengthen and enhance your eyes. I have to say if you have short lashes and are looking for long lashes this is one to give a try. I do not usually sway towards lengthening mascara's as my lashes crave more thickness and volume but the curl and length of this mascara was impressive as it did both with ease and I actually turned to this on my more natural days where I didn't wear make up but needed my eyes to look more awake.
The formula of this is in the middle of wet and dry. I didn't find it too wet or too dry which is the perfect combination and means you can avoid clumpy lashes.
I also really enjoyed the brush of this mascara. It is an oval dome shape with short bristles. My eye lids are quite small so most mascara wands can be a bit tricky for me to use. Not this one and the dome shape allows me to reach the roots of the lashes and right in to the corners that can be difficult to reach.
The Laura Mercier Long Lash mascara full size is £19:00 which is a decent price for a high end mascara. If you prefer the more natural lashes then this is definitely one to give a go. I would call it a 'I woke up like this mascara' because it makes your eyes look awake without making you look over done.
Laura Mercier have a
