Now, I know I have been laying on the lip balms kind of thick on the blog recently and I am sorry about that but after trying this out for the past couple of months I had to tell you about it.
I was lucky enough to try out the
Green Bubbles home made lip balm* in the scent 'Spiced Berry' and from the moment I opened the tin my heart had a tiny flutter. It smells good enough to eat (which not all lip balms do) and I find myself just opening the lid from time to time.
The smell reminds me of old school bubble gum sweet and fruity with a hint of spice. Smells aside, I promise it is a good lip balm. it contains olive oil which means it is very good at moisturising dry lips as well as containing beeswax and shea butter to add a little bit of extra nourishment to your lips. They both also add to t he texture too which I like as it is not slippy (A pet peeve of mine when it comes to lip balms) which means this is one you can wear under or over a matte lipstick without getting a glossy effect or feel like it is being smothered everywhere.
The packaging is adorable too, it comes in a nice tiny silver tin which you can pop in your hand bag or leave on your bedside table. You can find out more about them by visiting their site
here. They also do soap and skincare, which I have never tried before but thought I would mention incase you wanted to take a look.
