Happy Monday, last week I celebrated the muslim day of Eid, which takes place twice a year. Eid is one of the those rare times where I don't spend my day in front of a laptop and spend time with my incredible family. We like to get dressed up and eat yummy food and is genuinely a lovely day.
I thought I would share with you the make up I am wearing today as it is slightly different to what is normally on my face.
First for the base I go in with the
Max Face Maxfinity primer and then use my
NARS Sheer Glow foundation. Both of these together make my skin look great and smooth while keeping it looking hydrated too which I love.
To give my face some life I go in with my trusty
Arbronne Bronzer. I do like this but I want to try something new as this is the only bronzer I own (so beauty blogger eh?) so I've been reading reviews and there are a few I would like to try.
As I want a blush that will last me a good few hours I stuck to what I know and used the
Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Concealer in soft pink. This is a new shade in my collection but it is a soft natural shade that doesn't make you over the top but gives your cheeks a little bit of ump. I am going for a bold lip look so I want to keep my face basic and natural as normal.
Now it is time to focus on the eyes. I go in with my trust
Stila in the light palette which has a array of beautiful shimmery shades. I keep it neutral sticking to the the matte brown in the crease and gold shimmer all over the lids. Next comes the liquid liner and for big occasions i bring my favourites so I am going in with the
Eyeko Skinny liner which should not be a big surprise to anyone as I absolutely love using this. It is so easy to use.
Finishing off the look I go in with my
Max Factor False lash effect mascara which I have only just started using so expect a full review on it soon but so far it does the job. Not the best I have used but definitely not the worse either.
Now, it is all about the brows. I have been loving the
Anastasia dip brow pomade in the shade Ebony. It is really easy to use. You can use it very sparingly or build it up depending on how you like your brows. I am not going to lie, I like a bit of a strong brow so that is what I am aim for when I use this. It can be tricky to use at first but it is really easy to use and if you like brows definitely give it a look.
Now all that is left for me to do is tackle those lips and I love me a bold lip so I am going in with the
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in the shade 111 Kiss of Life. I was split between this and the Lime Crime velvetine in the shade red velvet but I thought this was a bit more suitable on this occasion.
I like this look, it is easy and simple for everyone to do which is why I think it works well.
