Review | Skyn Iceland Hydra Cool firming Gel

Lately I have had a serious case of puffy eyes. I think it is a way for my body to tell me that I need more than 4-5 hours of sleep. While I am working on that, I still needed to sort out  the dry puffy eye situation I had got going on so delved in to the world of Skyn Iceland.

Skyn Iceland is a brand that focuses on helping the damage everyday stress can cause the skin. I herd good things about them so when I saw their Hydra Cool Firming Gel while I was in Marks and Spencers I knew I needed to give it a go.

The Hydra Cool Firming Gel is a gel pad which goes under the eye where you would apply your eye cream  for 10 minutes. The cooling gel gets absorbed in to the skin depuffing the eyes, making you look more hydrated and awake.

The moment it touches the skin you can feel the refreshing cool gel treating the skin. It is really easy to take off as it doesn't stretch the skin the way a plaster would. The cooling pad itself covers all of the under eye and actually on me is a little bit big. I was hoping it may be possible to cut them in half but unfortunately you can't but it works so I don't mind.

It contains pure Icelandic glacial waters, along with, arctic berries and pure oxygen all of which add to the depuffing and de wrinkling of your under eyes. The Hydralised Elastin, also helps in toning and soothing the skin.

It is my second week using them and I have to say I have already noticed a difference. My under eyes are not as dry and even though I am still getting the same amount of sleep there is no puffy eye situation going on which I love. As I am only 23, I cannot really speak about the wrinkles, I will say that the lines I had when my eyes are dry are now gone

It comes in a pack of 8 so you will get a good amount of use out of them. I use them once a week rather than than on a daily basis so these will last me a while.

I have normal - Dehydrated skin and while I would say you would be fine using these if you had sensitive or oily skin I couldn't be 100% sure. They do say it is suited for all skin types and as it is fragrance free, there is a good indicator that it would be ok to use but something to bare in mind.

At £25.00, they can be seen as an investment in your skincare regime but as I always say if I know something works I don't mind spending a bit of my money of it.

After discovering the Autograph lip liners and now these Cooling Gels it is safe to say the M&S Beauty counters are vast becoming one of my favourite places to browse.

Lots of love
