Happy Monday my loves, hope you're well and looking forward to a great week. I wanted to share with you a lip combination I have been absolutely loving. I love it because it is a mix of old and new. A new lipliner and an old lipstick I found 'shopping my stash'.
I use the Autograph Lip Liner in Rosewood. I spoke about this in my latest video and this isn't a lip liner I have herd off before but it is incredible. So long wearing, easy to wear on it's own or under a lipstick. It is the perfect nude for my skin tone. I never thought I would find a nude shade I 100% like but I am really impressed with this. I will be doing a separate review on this in the next week so keep an eye out for it.
Then to add a bit of pink in to the mix (I cannot help myself) I use MAC's captive. This lipstick actually comes from my mama who doesn't use it anymore. It is a deep mauve shade which gets over shadowed from all the other MAC lipsticks out there in the world but this is a really nice shade for those of you who want a little of colour on your lips but want it to be subtle. Great for work or for meals out.
Captive's a satin finish which means it is long lasting like a matte lipstick but slightly more moisturising. It is one of my favourite formula's and I would highly recommend this shade.
I've been wearing this lip combination everyday since I stumbled across it. It provides me with colour without me sticking out like a sore thumb in the office.
I have a serious love affair with this combination and knew I had to share it with you. Let me know what you think.
