Make Up Monday | The bank holiday face

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! If you're anything like me Bank Holiday Monday is usually spent catching up on errands, doing chores that I have put off and just general life organising things. On these days I don't really want to worry about make up and will be honest unless I am going out for more than just a few errands I will be make up free but I thought I would show you a scaled down make up look that you can wear helping you to wake up, feel good about yourself that is lightweight and allows your skin to breathe.

For my base I would use the Bourjois Bronzing primer. I've talked a lot about this recently so I will keep this short but it helps give you the most flawless skin! I haven't been sleeping as much so I will also be doing some concealing with the Bourjois eye cream CC corrector. Next I will be giving the Origins CC a try. I have herd good thing about this and the fact it contains SPF in it makes me excited. So far I love the consistency but watch out for a full on first impressions post coming up next month.

If I am going to do some make up then I cannot go without some highlighting. So using the Sleek highlight for a nice subtle look which lasts all day without looking over done.

Eye liner also helps give my eyes a little bit of definition. My go to is the Eyeko eyeliner which is sadly running out but it is a holy grail product of mine at the moment. (Big statement right there!)

My lashes need to be thick and full all day everyday. I have small eyes and this makes them look more alive avoiding me looking like death. I am using the Maybelline Volume Express Collosal mascara which I like. I think I will like more the more it dries up but it is a great mascara.

It is true what they say it is all about the brows. Filling in my brows is something I have to do everyday and to do this I have been trying out the Anastasia dipbrow pomade in the shade Ebony. I am absolutely loving this but a full review will be coming up next month.

For lips, I usually go for a bold statement but for a make up down day Revlon's Matte Balm in Sultry works an absolute treat. It stays on all day and if I forget to put it in my bag I don't have to worry about it coming off or fading.

Now, that is the make up sorted, time to go do some shopping and work! What are you all up too today?

Lots of love
