Style Saturday | The work edit

The work edit

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a fabulous bank holiday weekend. Getting a new job means dressing the part. If you are like me and a recent graduate it can be a bit of a trial and error so I created a bit of a wish list that isn't out of budget but still work appropiate.

Blazer - ASOS
Blazers were the first thing that I looked for as I have a few dresses that are work related already. This one from ASOS has a pattern to it meaning you can minimise the rest of the outfit with a plain top and trousers.

Blazer - Asda
I am actually hoping to pick this up today. It is a loose fit yet hugs in the right places. They didn't have my size when I went on the hunt for it the other day so I am hoping they will still have it today. The quality is fantastic

Dress - ASOS
I love dresses you can dress them up or dress them down and this one has a bit of colour in it so it isn't too over powering but still brings something extra to an outfit.

Shoes - Boohoo
A good pair of flat yet elegant shoes are perfect if you work in an office especially if you are at a desk for 90% of the time. These ones from Boohoo look stunning and are versatile so will go with plenty of outfits.

Shoes - Asda
I love heels, they are absolutely beautiful but I cannot walk in them to save my life. Thank god chunky heels are around more recently. The ones in the picture are from Tory Burch but this pair from Asda have a nice gold rim on them which adds a nice touch to them.

A bag full of colour - New Look
You need two staple bags, one that has some colour in it and another black one . New look do some great bags and are on offer at the moment. My current lust is this one as it goes with a variety of outfits whether you are wearing black or brown.

The black bag - New Look
I know another bag from New Look but I did tell you they had some great ones in at the moment (and I am rather fussy when it comes to bags. This is an everyday black bag but has a crochet panel pattern to it which adds some pazzaz and edge to it helping it to complete an outfit while carrying all your necessities.

Overall, as with everything fashion, find what works for you and you will be comfortable. If you are reading this starting a new job good luck!
