Review | Sleek by 3 blush palette in Pink Lemonade

Hey my loves, you all know my obsession Sleek and their blushes. They rival some great high end formulas. Up until recently I had never tried their cream formula's or they're by three palettes. While browsing the isles in superdrug I decided I needed to give this gorgeous palette a go.

As the name suggests Pink Lemonade is a palette of pink hues. Two are powder formulas and the centre shade is a cream formula.

I'll start off by talking about the cream shade. It is a nice bright pink, which looks quite deep in the pan but when you apply it, you get a nice sheer pinch of colour on your cheek. It is 'wetter' in consistency than other cream blushes but that doesn't translate on your cheeks. You aren't left with oily looking or far too dewy cheeks. My one problem with this would be that, although it lasts on the skin for a few hours, I would like the lasting power to be slightly longer.

Pink Lemonade also has two shades in the sleek powder formula I know and love. The first one is a light pink. As with most of sleek blushes is very shimmery and highly pigmented. You only need to tap your brush on the pan to get some colour on your brush.

The other shade is a slightly deeper but lovely shade. It gleams more of on the coral side of the pink compared to the others in the palette which is great as  bit of variety is always good!

Sleek powder formulas are long lasting and as both are quite shimmery. I would start of apply just a touch and build it up if you need/want too. I once herd a make up artist say it is much easier to build a product up than taking it off once it is applied and it is probably one of the best make up tips you can learn. As they are shimmery if you like a natural look you can skip a highlighter when using this palette.

I also have to add that the packaging is on point. I love how travel friendly this palette is not only is it compact, sleek and small but the mirror makes it ideal to carry on journeys when you feel you may need to freshen up. If you are going on holiday and want to wear blush this is a very good alternative.

Sleek blushes are an absolute drugstore gem at £9.99 for a palette of three you really cannot go wrong.

Have you tried Sleek blushes?

Lots of love
