DIY Friday | Face Scrubs

Happy Friday! As we are in the middle of winter and can see spring coming a lot of us are wanting to make sure our skin in the best condition possible. Good skin means that you can tone down the make up on really hot days! (melting foundation is a huge no no) So I found some face masks recipes online that would help give your skin an extra boost.

Cucumber and Yoghurt face mask
The cooling sensation of the cucumbers and the nutrients of Yoghurt make it a good moisturiser, helps againts blemishes and pimples just to name a few. If you are having a dull skin day this will help give it a little bit of a lift.

Here is what you need:
1\2 Cucumber
1tbsp Yoghurt

Mix them together and apply mixture on face.

Banana and Sugar face scrub
If you are like me and have dry skin this may be one to try. The Sugar in this scrub, just like in a lip scrub, helps to exfoliate the skin getting rid of dry patches you may have on face.

What you will need:
1 Banana (Riped and Peeled)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar

After mashing the banana add the sugars in to the mix. Then it is ready to exfoliate and rejuvenate your skin.

I honestly cannot wait to plan a girly evening with some friends and give these masks a go. If any of you do not like these particular masks there are plenty on Google.

Have you made your own face masks before?

Lots of love
