Hey there beauties, now in general, I like to invest in my eye cream. In my experience I find quality of ingredients to be better and the effects can be a lot more quicker.
Saying that, I know that it is not everyone's cup of tea. Some people don't want to invest in eye creams so I decided to do some digging in boots and found this offering from the Una Brenan Superfacialist range.
The range is sold exclusively in boots and comes recommended by some skincare greats. The Neroli Illuminating eye cream is runny formula, unlike most eye creams, which generally have a thicker consistency. This means you only require a little when using it. I literally less than a pea size amount for both my under eyes.
What I really like about this cream is the hydration it brings. Once applied my eyes feel bright, loose and hydrated. It reduces any dry lines I may have had before using the eye cream.
It claims to lift and depuff the eyes. I don't have really dark circles so I cannot speak for this cream in that respect but I have noticed a slight lift as well as depuffing on the skin. If you suffer from extremely puffy eyes it may take a while longer for you to see the effects of this.
One thing that I find reassuring is that it is fragrance free. Most drugstore eye creams can be heavily scented but this is not the case this this.
Ingredients wise, although it isn't the most natural of eye creams, it is one of the ingredient friendly budget options. It contains skin friendly numbers such as Shea Butter and Aloe Vera.
I have normal to dehydrated skin but I would say the Una Brenan Superfacialist Nepoli Illuminating Eye Cream would work on most skin types.
It comes at a purse friendly £11.99 but is currently on offer for £7.99 at boots
so if you are looking to try this, now is the time!
