Happy Thursday my loves, you will have to forgive me, this review has been a long time coming. You would have seen the Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow paint in posts alongside other products on my blog and I realised it was about time to tell you all my thoughts on it.
The
Rimmel Eye shadow paints, launched last year as part of Rimmels scandaleyes range. The range is very impressive, so I was really eager to try this and it, didn't disappoint.
I chose the shade
Golden Bronze, which has the name suggests, is a nice gold with a metallic sheen to it. The eye shadow paints are unique in a lot of ways.
You apply it using the doefoot applicator, which looks like a lip gloss. At first, it can be slightly confusing, but actually allows for an easy application.
The formulation, is almost paint like, providing with big pigmentation, and intense staying power. Unlike some pen eye shadow sticks, the eye shadow paints, stay on all day without moving on the lids or creasing.
I blend this slightly in my crease and usually apply two coats but the intensity means that it is not necessary. I also put eye liner on top of it and find it glides on easily without any problems.
I love how quickly this works and blends on to the eyes, it is perfect for those of you on the go or if you are at work and have an event to go to in the evening as you don't need to carry a brush or a bunch of other shadows around with you.
The colour shade is not fabulous but another one I have my eye is the shade Rich Russet. They are currently three for two at boots so it is a great to stock up on some. At
£4.99 they really are one of the gems on the high street.
