Happy first week of February. Time is flying as they say. If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you may realise, that it was my birthday last week. I didn't really do anything special just hung out with my family and I will be seeing some friends this weekend.
I still wanted to do something nice with my make up so I did like a glam up everyday day kind of make up. All I did was go to Trafford Centre with my parents on my actual birthday so I didn't go all out.
I started off my base with my
Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. It is a perfect winter tinted moisturiser as it is hydrating yet delivers great coverage for a tinted moisturiser. I then added some glow back in to my skin.
Today was a non blush evening so I went straight to my eyes. I didn't want to do a complicated look that would take a look time to implement so I just used my
Maybeline 24 hour colour tattoo in On and On Bronze (or bad to the bronze if you are reading this from the states) It is quick, easy to use, yet very effective at creating great eye look.
I finished my eyes off with a lashing of
Benefits They're real mascara. I keep this for special occasions usually and what better excuse to use your favourite mascara than on your birthday.
A step in my make up routine I never fail to do is my eyebrows. I filled them in with my
Illah Brows kit but I am looking to get the new Anatasia brow pomade gel that has recently been released.
Again, a new product I literally brought as soon as it came in stores was the Revlon matte balm in the shade standout. I have a review coming up so I will keep this short. I love them. If you like matte formulas and stayed away from the original colour burst balms because of that I would highly recommend trying these out!
Over all, I was happy with this look. It lasted all evening.
