Hey there my loves. If you are a regular reader of my blog (firstly thank you!) you will know it has actually been a while since I did a lipstick review.
Considering that I actually really Topshop lipstick it is quite shocking that I only own two. The second one is a recent purchase and one that is perfect for this time of year.
I decided to get the shade
Beguiled, which is a deep burgundy red shade. It is unlike any other shade I own as it is has more of a brown undertone rather than a blue or purple.
What I like about this is how wearable this is. You can wear it as a full on bold lip (which I do on the regular) or if you need something that is more understated you can mute it down a little and it can leave a nice stain on your lips.
One of the reason's I love Topshop lipsticks is the formula. Beguiled is a what Topshop calls a velvet matte formula and that is spot on. It applies smoothly as the name would suggest whilst being matte. The lasting power of a lipstick is something I look for in a good quality lipstick and this lasts a good few hours without needing to be touched up. Even when I eat I don't have to worry about it slipping and sliding all over the place.
Another surprising thing about this lipstick is that I don't feel the need to apply a lip liner. Usually with a bold lip it can be a bit of a hit or miss if it something I need but I have not had to think about that with this lipstick.
As with all of
Topshop make up the packaging is classic, cute and girly. I love the metal casing the lipsticks are in.
If you are looking for a good quality lipstick but don't want to spend too much for £9.00 each you really cannot go wrong.
Have you tried Topshop lipsticks?
