Skincare Sunday - Looking after the lips

Happy Sunday my lovely readers. I hope you all have had a fabulous week. Today I wanted to talk about lips. In particular keeping them hydrated during these colder months.

You all know I love lipsticks but I also have a small collection of lip balms. They all have their uses and instances when I use them. They are a perfect desk winter staple.

Blistex Relief Cream | £2.49
I don't use this everyday but I keep this in my stash for those times I may get the odd cold core or really horrible chapped lips. When that happens, I apply this on the areas that need it just before bed and it clears it right up.

Korres Lip Butter - Pomegranate | £8.00
A blogger favourite for a reason this lip butter is a staple in my collection. First of all it smells divine! I love the smell of pomegranate and this is up there with the best. I keep this with me around the house as a desk side essential.

Lush - Lip scrub Mint Julips | £5.00
Like mint choc chip? you will love this offering from Lush. As you all know I love wearing lipstick so in winter lip scrubs are must. I use this before I apply my make up for the day. It gets rid of the dead skin cells on my lips so the lipstick doesn't crease and glides on easily.

ESPA Mandarin Lip Balm* | £10.00
I know I know I talk about this waaaayyyyyy too much. I apologise and will keep this brief. Keeps my lips hydrated, great to use over night as it is very long lasting.

Bare Minerals lip balm | £15.00 (Currently on special offer)
I got this as a present. It is a pricey lip product but I really like it so far. It is easy for those of you who are always on the go. It smells and tastes incredible. There is a little tint to these but for the most part they are quite sheer.

We all seem to talk about face, body or hair when it comes to looking after yourself during the colder months. Looking after your lips is just as important as having dry lips can be very frustrating.

What do you use to look after your lips in the colder months.

Lots of love
