Hello my loves, happy new week! last Monday, I showed you all a kind of darker evening look but I know that not everyone (including me sometimes) wants to wear or feel comfortable wearing so I thought I would show an alternative I like wear which is a little bit softer but just as lovely.
For my face I do my usual priming following with a tinted moisturiser as a base. The choices for this look were the
Bourjois Happy Light serum primer and my
NARS tinted moisturiser in St Moritz both give my skin the hydration and complexion I look for.
I then go in with my bronzer. If you haven't herd about
Arbonne's bronzer* I would definitely look in to it. I really like it, it gives me that nice glowy bronzed look with the right about of shimmer.
For blush I opted for the neutral cream blush from
Max Factor in Soft murano. It is a nice natural berry colour that can be applied lightly or built up to the desired colour. It might not look that much but there is a lot of pigmentation in this little tub.
Now on to the eyes. As I don't want to go heavy but still want to add a bit of glam I decided to opt for a gold colour. Gold is perfect for those who love glitter and neutral shades. The
Urban Decay Naked 2 palette has some beautiful offerings for this. I chose to go with Half Baked. If you want something less shimmery go for
Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow pencil in bulletproof beige.
To finish it off I apply some mascara. The one I am using today is
Lash Vegas by Barry M, which I am liking for a subtle lift on the eyes.
Then for the lips, as this is a softer look a nice but bold pink is a fabulous colour to work in the evening. My favourite at the moment is
PomPom by Soap & Glory seriously cannot rave about this lipstick enough. It is matte, yet moisturising and stays on all day.
And there you have it, is pretty minimalist but I really like this look and it is a great option for those of you who don't like wearing too much make up but what to spruce up a little bit.
