Hello my loves. This review has been a long time coming, I have been wanting to use the Soap & Glory breakfast for the longest time so when it came on offer I knew I had to give it a go.
First of all the smell - Let me just say it is incredible the mixture of banana, sugar and maple extracts is like heaven in a jar. It makes the scrub literally good enough to eat (although I wouldn't advice that)
Beyond the smell the combination of almond oil, honey, oats and shea butter adds nourishment and soothing to your skin so when you are done applying the scrub your body is left feeling soft and moisturised.
The consistency is thick which I like because it spreads more and means a little goes a long way. If you have tried Flake Away from Soap & Glory it is a bit more of a grit and scrub like texture than that.
I noticed a difference in my skin from the first time I used it. I had areas of dry which went after just using this a couple of times. My skin has never felt so soft whilst I have been in the shower before.
I am lucky enough I don't feel the need to fake tan but if you are someone who uses fake tan or a gradual tanner this is a good exfoliator before you apply your tan.
This has to be my favourite scrubs I have tried so far. Everything from the smell to the way it works on the skin makes going for a shower even better than it already is.
Another thing I appreciate about this scrub is the fact it is under £10, which means that it does not break the bank.
Boots stock The breakfast scrub at £8.00 and is usually on some kind of offer.
