Hello my lovelies, I hope your Sunday is going well. I realised that I have never really talked about my morning routine. Now that it is getting colder when I wake up in the morning it is something I am thinking about more.
For those of you who may not know my room is an attic which I love but can leave your skin dry. I have been doing ok keeping away from that so far but I am sure I will work a tad bit harder the colder the weather get.
I first use a light and gentle face wash. I don't go to sleep with my make up on so I don't need anything too heavy just something to wake me up and revitalise my skin. At the moment I am using the
Elemis fresh skin gentle exfoliating face wash*
which I love. It is light and perfect for sensitive skin.
Then to add some moisture to my skin I decided it was time to include some form of serum in to my routine. At the moment I am using the
ESPA Proserum* which is a new launch. It is still really early days but so far I really like it.
I find some morning I wake up and the skin under my eyes appear to be a tad dry so I always make sure I apply some eye cream. My
Origins Ginzing eye cream is amazing as it does exactly what it says it will do. It will be a sad day when I finish this.
A moisturiser is a month and I have to say is holy grail for me at the moment (which I don't say often) is the
Origins Energy boosting moistiruser. I've talked about it enough so won't you with the details but let me tell you if you are looking for a light gel moisturiser this is one to look in too. It is a bit expensive if you are on a budget but you can get a sample to see if it works for you.
After I do all of this my skin feels refreshed and brighten up after feeling quite dull when I first wake up.
Do you have a morning skincare routine?
