Hi lovelies, Today I thought I would tell you all about a fantastic evening I had last night. If you in too fashion you will know that every year around London Fashion Week Vogue hosts a fashion night out. Usually this happens in London which would mean I would not have been able to experience it. This year however for the first time in Vogues history the fashion night out took place in Manchester.
Vogue fashion night out is basically a night full of shopping, crazy deals, great company and live music. I met up with
Cat,
Francesca,
Rachel and
Rachael and we first went to the
Arndale Centre. The shopping centre was full of pop up beauty stands and stores giving free goody bags with purchases. One of my favourites was what Topshop had to offer. They were giving beauty masterclasses and had guests give speeches. I wish I got to see more of it but I am glad I saw what I did.
Levi's had a masterclass with Maybelline which is something that does not happen often and not to be missed. If you did miss out on the activities at Arndale, they are having a flash sale today to continue the festivities - if you are looking to amp up your winter wardrobe it is worth going to look while stocks last!
We also went to the big department stores our first one was
Selfridges. As expected this was on point. There were carts of popcorn and drinks along with gift bags and people floating around the front of the store with special gift cards (which unfortunately I did not manage to get) The store was seriously alight and the atmosphere was amazing.
As
Harvey Nichols was right next to it, it would be wrong to not go in. Harvey Nichols is one of my favourite places as it contains most of my favourite higher end brands making it perfect for browsing. I have been dying to try the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser and it is only place I know that had sample pots for me to try. I have a feeling I will love it but I cannot wait to get stuck in and try it out.
Harvey Nichols also had the beautiful Oliver Proudlock and Jamie Laing from Made In Chelsea (which by the way starts on the 14th ;) you're welcome) signing the Vogue Fashion Night Out T-shirts alongside other designers which was a nice surprise. They also had cupcakes and pick & mix which I headed straight forwards.
There were also competitions being held in stores such as UGGs and Tom Baker where you can win a huge gift voucher to spend on the night on the store. The atmosphere was incredible as there were so many people around and all the workers were so full of energy and dressed to the nines.
The last stop we went too before the evening ended was
House of Fraser who also happened to be celebrating their 10th birthday. They had a special deal where if you spent £50 you get £10 off selected products.
Over all the evening was fantastic. I love Manchester for it's people, fashion and atmosphere and it was incredible to see all those of things coming together for an evening it will not forget in a hurry.
Sorry I didn't take many pictures as it was hard to take proper ones with lots of people around and my phone failed me. I definitely plan to invest in to a camera soon so my picture qualities will be better.
Did you go to Vogue Fashion Night Out? if you did what did you think?
