Happy Sunday! If you live in the UK you will no doubt realise that winter is fast approaching. Yes it is starting to get cold. Personally I love the colder months but I went on about that last weekend!
The change in weather has meant that I have changed things slightly in my skincare routine. I have a couple of old favourites but also a few new additions which I have been testing and so far so good!
I decided to try out a cleansing balm after Caroline Hirrons pointed out the benefits this has to your skin. I had the
Neal's Yard wild rose beauty balm* I am going to do an in-depth review on this soon but let me say this - it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and it is very gentle. Perfect for sensitive skin.
I have also been testing this
DHC facial oil to double cleanse if I feel my skin needs it. I am not sure what make of it yet but I can see the appeal of facial oils and will road test a bit more I tell you what I think.
The body shop is a place I have recently started to go in to more and more. I feel like it has been uping its game lately and stocks some wonderful products. I currently have a wish list a mile long. The first was this
chamomile eye make up remover. I will be reviewing this in more detail but this is genuinely perfect for sensitive eyes. I have used my fair share of eye make up removers and this is definitely up there with the best.
For moisturisers Origins is still my go to. In fact at this moment in time I can see the
Energy boosting moisturiser being a holy grail moisturiser. I reviewed it
here so I won't bore you too much with the details. My eye cream is still my trusty
Ginzing eye cream which I adore. Again to not bore you I reviewed it
here.
My skin stands on the normal - dehydrated side and all of these are working perfectly. I am doing some research on serums for those days my skin is on the drier but other than that I am really happy with what I am currently using.
Do you change your skincare in the colder months? Let me know.
