Hey my loves, the make up world has recently taken to all things pen. Nearly every brand now has a jumbo lip pencil of some kind. Personally, I skipped the obsession. I like pigmentation and most of these are quite sheer for my liking.
Recently however the lip pencils have moved on to all over eye pencil and this is something I can definitely get in too. I decided to start with this offering from Collection. I have to admit I rarely buy anything from Collection but they have recently taken the blogging world by storm so I decided to have a look around.
Staying true to my neutral love I decided on the shade hot chocolate which is a nice brown shade with bronze shimmer. I have to say I am very impressed with this. The pigmentation of the colour is nice and bold and the lasting power is spot on. It sets instantly without leaving your eyes feeling tacky or sticky.
The formula is extremely lightweight. I am wearing it right now and I rubbed my eye forgetting I had it on. Usually if this happened chances are you would see some of the colour rub off your hand but once this set, it sets. There was no moving or transference perfect for a quick evening / night out look.
The idea is that you can apply is as one colour over the lid quick make up and you can definitely do that. If it usually takes you a while to do a smokey eye or a darker eye this may be worth trying. It generally took me 2 minutes to apply this if that. The colour doesn't crease on me but this is not something I generally have a problem with so I am not the best judge of that.
I haven't tried similar eye sticks from other other brands so cannot compare them but I have to say for my first collection purchase I am very impressed.
