Make Up Monday - Whats on my face - The Eid edit

Happy Monday beauties. How are you all? Today I thought I would share with you the make up I wore on the day I celebrated Eid. I hadn't worn much make up leading up to it so it was nice to glam it up a little bit.

I started off by prepping my skin with my Laura Mercier Radiance primer. It adds a nice clear radiance to your skin. I then applied my NARS Tinted moisturiser in St Moritz. I say this all the time but I love this, it evens out my skin tone giving me a nice light coverage and makes me look all around healthier. I used my fingers to apply both of these as I feel this gets the best results.

Then it was time to conceal and I went in with my Benefit fake up concealer* under my eyes. I swear by this concealer. It does such an incredible job at keeping the under eyes hydrated as well making me look more awake. After applying it from the tube I blended it in with the Real Techniques foundation brush.

To give my skin a little bit of golden feel I went in with my Arbonne bronzer. It is a really nice and light so doesn't make me look cakey. It has a slight shimmer to it to give me a glow without being overpowering.

I don't like having too much powder on my face so for blush I used my Max Factor Miracle Touch blush in Soft Murano. I blended it in with the Real Techniques buffing brush and I have to say I am in love with this blush. It is light weight and gives my skin a nice natural flush. I need more of them in my collection.

Then I used the highlighter from my Sleek contour kit to add some glow an dewiness to the skin. I really like this highlighter subtle yet powerful making it a good combination.

The eyes is where I changed my look up a little bit. After priming my lids with the MUA eye primer I applied tease from the Naked 2 palette all over the lids especially in the crease. I then went in with Half Baked which is a beautiful golden colour. I applied this using the Real Techniques eye shadow brush. Then to give my eyes a little bit more oomph I added the colour verve from the palette in to my inner tearduct area.

Then it was time to put on some eyeliner. I asked my sister to do this as it was a special occasion and it usually takes me time to get it the way I want it. My sister on the other hand is very steady and did it within like 2 mins. We used the soap and glory supercat liner in carbon black and put on 3/4 of the lash line. It really brought the whole look together.

Time to start wrapping up the over look. I filled in my eye brows with the Barry M angle brush and my usual shade blackout.

On to my favourite part of most of my looks - the lips. I lined and filled in my lips with the Rimmel 1000 kisses in Red Dynamite and then 111 from the Rimmel Kate Moss Matte collection. It is a beautiful vibrant red that amps up any look.

What do you all think of this look?

Lots of love
