Fashion Friday - Fashion on a budget

Good Morning! now if you are anything like me you will be spending this weekend getting last minute clothes for college / university. So because of this I thought I would give you some of my tips or what I try and do to save money when shopping for clothes.

Skimp on the basics
By basics I mean things like underwear/ vest tops/ PJ's. I am not saying this because you don't need a good pair of quality underwear. I am saying this because you can get a good pair of quality underwear from places such as Primark. They also do really good PJs.  They are usually things you need more than one off too making it an even better save!

Search the Supermarket Aisles!
When was the last time you went to Asda and looked through the George section? or go to Tesco and search their FF clothing line? You can get some really good deals in the clothing sections of supermarkets. The quality of their clothes is great too. I've always been impressed with whatever I buy from there. The prices are affordable on everything from T shirts to their shoes and handbags. Definitely worth venturing in too before looking at the high street.

Know when to buy
i tend to buy the majority of clothes at certain times of the year. I am not exactly sure why but I do and it helps. I usually manage to find bargains around christmas time at places such as Topshop and Zara. If you plan when you are going to shop and spend some money you can save up - even if you do not end up buying anything at the time you will have saved up money for when you do find what it is you are looking for.

Shop online
There are some really good online stores. Misguided, Boohoo and Pretty Little Thing are among some of my favourites. You can get some lovely pieces for reasonable prices.

Added tip
When you are shopping take a look at the stores you visit's online websites. For example if I know I am going to go shopping in the next few days I will take a look at some of the sites of shops I know I will go in too. That way I will know if there is any point in going and if they have anything I may like. You can also compare prices on stuff too which is an added bonus.

Hope this is useful for those of you going shopping this weekend.
Let me know what your budget shopping tips are.
