Make Up Monday - Highlighting

Morning lovelies, I hope you all have a great day and week. Today, I thought I would carry on my make up monday experimenting post.

Last month I set myself a task of working on make up things I suck at. One of those things is highlighting.

As when I did the eyeliner I did some prep.

I watched some of the below:

I read this post on the beauty department about contouring and highlighting
I then read this post that simply talked about highlighting

I then tried to applied what I had learnt. It is not a hard concept but making sure it suits you can be a bit hard.
I used the only highlighter I have in my collection. It is the one that comes in the Sleek Contour Kit. I applied it with my Real Techniques contour brush. Taking on the tips from what I researched I applied the highlight power on my brush then dust it off a little. After I did this I applied it to the top of my cheeks and my temples.

The results
I really liked it, the highlighter gave me a natural sort of glow and it lasted all day. It has become a staple part of my everyday make up routine.

I am looking in to more highlighters and cream highlighters to add to my collection and have been on many swatching sessions since.

Do you highlight? and what is your favourite highlighter?
Lots of love
Nafisah
