Today I wanted to talk about a look I have been wearing a lot lately. It wasn't planned but I've been gravitating more towards the colour pink.
I am usually a gold / bronze neutral shades kind of girl but I've been liking this so I thought I would share it you as it's perfect for summer time.
For the eyes I have been gravitating towards the Maybelline colour tattoo in the shade Pink Gold. It is just this nice shimmery pink shade. It is a perfect day to night shade.
For the cheeks I have two options a cream blush is perfect for the summer and my favourite at the moment is this deep pink Max Factor miracle touch in Soft murano or soft pink. They are nicely pigmented and give your skin a nice glow without making you look like a clown (which some blushes can do to me)
For a powder blush I've been gravitating towards my NARS deep throat blusher. It's a great rosé pink with a hint of shimmer which on the skin looks more like a sheen rather than glitter.
On the lips I could not just pick one. There are such a great range of pink lipsticks out there you will be able to find one in your comfort zone. Personally my two favourites are a Revlon lip butter in Raspberry Pie which is a nice deep pink shade. If you want something that's not to bold PomPom by soap and glory is perfect. It's a light matte pink but moisturising and doesn't melt all over your face.
Overall pink is such a pretty shade to wear all year round by especially in summer as it's light and not too heavy.
