Food Friday - Home made chocolate ice cream

Happy Friday you lovely bunch of people. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Today, I am going to show you a healthy treat I stumbled across on Rosie's blog. It is pretty easy to make (If I can do it so can you!)

Ingredients
1 ripe Banana
1 tbsp of good quality coco powder (I would use either Hersheys or Green and Blacks)
A swirl of honey (or sweetener of your choice)
Your choice of topping (I am going to use Raspberries)

How to make it.
To make this all you do is chop up the Banana's in small chunks and freeze them. Rosie recommends you do this for at at least 5 hours so that is what I am going to do.
You then put it in a blender and blend the Banana till it goes slightly mushy.
Once it gets to that mushy stage you can add your sweetener which can be anything from maple syrup to sweet freedom or honey and the coco powder.
and voila! You can pop it back in the freezer or just eat like that.
I am going to add some raspberries on mine.

Mine is still in the freezer but I cannot wait to get stuck in to this and eat it! It is really easy and not expensive to make at all. Perfect for the occasional days of summer we are having at the moment.

Will you be making this?

Lots of love
Nafisah
