Fashion Friday - Summer edit

Happy Friday! I hope you all have an incredible weekend. Today I thought I would share with you some of my fashion changes over the past month. The sun has finally come to England (Although it seems to be missing this morning) so a change in wardrobe was in order.

When it comes to fashion I am more of a style than a trend girl. I know what suits me and will wear what I like rather than wear something uncomfortable simply because it is on trend.

With the new weather I decided to try something new and was quite surprised at the outcome. I am quite short (actually that is putting it mildly) I am 5.1 so I didn't expect max dresses and skirts to fit and suit me but astonishingly they do so I thought I would show you a couple of my favourites.

Primark - £10

This is a Navy Blue skirt which I also have in red and plan to pick up in Pink. It is really nice and flowing. I pair this with a patterned top. For cooler days you can add a blazer or a short sweater too. It is quite versatile - something you could wear to work. This particular one is new in Primark and only £10 go get you some!

Select - £16

This next one is a lovely patterned maxi dress. These are very classic and chic for lazy summer days perfect for a BBQ or a Garden Party. Again not something I would normally go for (I am usually a skinny jeans loose top blazer kind of girl) but I liked it so I thought why not. I pair mine with a black small sweater but it can work on it's own or with a blazer too. This was £16 from a shop in Arndale called Select.

What are you wearing this summer?

Lots of Love
